Balanced Man Scholarship
Dear Applicant:
Each year, the Brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon Illinois Beta offer the Balanced Man Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to an incoming, male, Illinois Institute of Technology student who best encompasses the ideals of the Balanced Man: the Scholar, the Athlete, the Leader, and the Gentleman.
Fifteen finalists will be selected to compete for the scholarship, and the winner will be announced August 20th, 2010 at our annual Balanced Man Banquet. All finalists will receive recognition for their achievements. The winner, and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th runners up will be awarded $750.00, $400.00, $200.00, $100.00, and $50.00, respectively. All awards may be used for whatever the recipient deems appropriate. Winning this scholarship is not dependent upon membership in Sigma Phi Epsilon.
